Privacy Policy

Clipboard Manager does not collect your data, does not send it anywhere, and does not sell it. Everything you copy stays in your browser's local storage, on your own computer.
There is no account, no server of ours, and no sync. We cannot see your clipboard history, and neither can anyone else.
What the extension stores, and where
All of it lives in chrome.storage.local — Chrome's own storage
area on your machine. None of it is uploaded.

Text only. Images and files that you copy are never captured. Each clip is capped at 20,000 characters.
The one request it makes
If you buy Pro, the extension contacts api.lemonsqueezy.com —
our payment provider — to activate your licence key and, once a day, to ask
whether the subscription is still valid.
That request contains your licence key and a device label such as "Clipboard Manager on Windows", so you can tell your own devices apart when you manage the licence. It contains none of your clips, and it never will. Lemon Squeezy handles the payment itself and never receives anything from your clipboard.
On the free tier, the extension makes no network requests at all.
What we do not do
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting
- No advertising and no tracking pixels
- No selling or sharing of user data with anyone
- No reading of page content — the extension only notices that a copy happened
- No silent clipboard reading. The "capture current clipboard" button reads it only when you press it
Staying in control
- Pause it. Turn capturing off in Settings and nothing more is recorded — worth doing before you copy a password.
- Delete it. Remove single clips, or use "Clear all" to wipe the history at once.
- Take it with you. Export everything to CSV, plain text, Markdown or JSON at any time.
- Uninstall. Removing the extension deletes its stored data along with it.
Children
This extension is not directed at children and collects nothing that could identify anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affected what leaves your machine would also be described in the extension's update notes.
